For those who favor a heartier start, the Breakfast Burrito Combo is a must-try, packed with eggs, peppers, onions, and cheese, accompanied by their creamy hash brown casserole.

The café’s signature Specialty Biscuits stand out, particularly the house favorite — a homestyle biscuit that is light and fluffy, perfect when paired with the savory sausage gravy. From the moment I walked in I felt right at home. The smell of fresh made coffee, pastries and a hint of breakfast sausage wafted over me when I walked in…Heaven. For a second I thought I was back at my Gram’s house on a Sunday morning! The server was charming, helpful and efficient. At his suggestion I had the homemade biscuits with sausage gravy and it was a treat. Biscuits were flaky, the gravy smooth with a hint of pepper and the sausage was placed on top. Wasn’t sure what to make of that but I ended up loving it. Coffee (dark roast) was perfectly prepared, not a hint of “burnt”. The atmosphere is Nashville-centric (photos of luminaries and art grace the walls.) and the seating (there’s even a little kids toy area and a mini library) is so much more extensive than you can see from outside. I also took home some amazing cinnamon rolls and donuts! I have two small quibbles, I’d prefer real half & half for my coffee and I’m sure it’s not possible, but table service would be lovely! I can’t wait to visit again and try one of their omelets!

From the outside, it looks a little nondescript. The inside is beautiful. It used to be a regular family home that was then converted into a small coffee shop and the owners still lived in the home. But it became really popular and they bought a new home and converted the whole rest of the house into this absolutely fabulous restaurant. Everything is really delicious. They have a whole bunch of different things they sell there. The service is great. The food is delicious. I didn't try the coffee, but it looked like they put a lot of heart and soul into it. The hours are 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. so perfect for the start of your commute, breakfast, and lunch.

Great food and it wasn't too busy. I didn't order coffee but they had some good choices. We had omelettes made to our specifications and they were tasty. The biscuit was super flaky and toast nice and crunchy. Nice patio seats with some sunshine today. They even put blankets out to keep you warm! Nice, off the beaten path location and highly recommend.

Lovely breakfast place in madison, tennessee, near nashville. The staff was so friendly and the food so delicious and what a quaint atmosphere!

Cute little hole in the wall cafe! Food was great! Coffee was good! Definitely recommend

Service was great and coffee was a nice surprise. The pecan coffee was smooth and worth a second cup. Biscuits and key lime pie outstanding. The atmosphere was like being at home. The pictures are really cool too. I will definitely be stopping back when in the area again.
